Recently, I have been inspired by the latest fall fashion trends. The weather is beginning to get a little colder and it is time to bring out all your winter essentials. If you feel unprepared for the winter I have a few essentials that are must during the winter time. Since my favorite movie is Clueless I decided to add that to how to describe what trends are in this season.
Plaid is Back !
The resurgence of plaid can be seen in looks from Spring 2018 collections from designers like Laquan Smith, Marques Almeida, Marc Jacobs. Plaid is not just for skirts to achieve the classic school girl look. The pattern is also used in coats, scarfs, and sweaters, it also comes in a variety of colors. Therefore, gives you room to play around with your look.
Booties Are Essential
When you are trying to find that perfect shoe for the winter weather, ensure that they are the following:
Comfortable
Stylish
Warm
Booties satisfy all three of those needs. They also come in different styles, colors, and texture (like suede or patent leather). They even come in different heel sizes such as a pointy heel or a block heel. Whichever makes you feel the most comfortable or stylish in, go for it!
Layer Up Outerwear
The great thing about winter is that you can mix and match sweaters, cardigans, jackets, coats, and bombers to create a look that shows off your personality and inner fashionista. This winter's trend will be bubble coats with a twist. Instead of using black, navy, and darker colors; switch it up with metallic bubble coats and brighter shades that will turn heads as soon as you walk out the door.
Winter is a time where layers are a key to achieving your style goals and ultimately being comfortable. Layer up with scarfs, sweaters, pea coats, jackets, knee-high socks.
Accessories Matter
A lot of accesories that were a fad back in the day are now coming back in this time of nostalgia. This winter make sure you grab a beret, fanny pack, or furry purse. These accessories come in all different sizes and colors. Also, grab yourself a few different vintage-styled purses to compliment your everyday look or style.
